Grace Kim is the founder and creative director of Studio Grace Melbourne. Her work has been nationally and internationally recognised for design excellence—helping organisations communicate with relevance, purpose, and impact.

Born in Queensland to Korean migrant parents, Grace brings a lived understanding of cross-cultural nuance, shaping a practice that bridges community insight with strategic creative leadership.

Introducing Grace

We believe strategic design is a vital business asset—and that quality creative services should be accessible to all.

In the early years, Grace recognised that many grassroots and community-focused organisations faced barriers to professional design despite having impactful stories to tell. This influenced her decision to operate Studio Grace in duality as both a design agency and a social enterprise.

Our social enterprise model reinvests profits into subsidised projects and emerging talent development. This approach fosters inclusive economic growth, amplifies diverse cultural representation, and delivers meaningful, measurable outcomes for both clients and the broader community.

Each year, we take on a small number of subsidised projects, fully delivered by our studio team.

Our Social Impact

Since 2014, Studio Grace has donated over AUD$42,300 in service discounts—supporting the successful launch of new businesses, the growth of community initiatives, and the visibility of important cultural voices.
